Markdale Station Farmstay is a beautiful country retreat that offers total privacy, seclusion and charming accommodation for up to 24 people, surrounded by over 6,300 acres of rolling hills in the Southern Tablelands of NSW.

The property is a fully-operational merino sheep and cattle farm only three hours from Sydney and under two hours from Canberra, featuring one of Australia's great country gardens.

Spanning five acres around the main homestead, the pioneer of Australian landscape gardening, Edna Walling, redesigned the garden in 1949 and it has been featured in many books and magazines over the years.

Guests can stay in the two original 1850's Stone Cottages and Shearer's Quarters. All are self-contained and offer a comfortable and authentic country experience.
