Tenterfield’s annual Autumn Festival is wonderful community-led celebration of the changing of the season, the colours of the town and its beautiful parks and gardens.
It's the best time of the year in the historic country town in the New England High Country with events and attractions for the whole family.
The four-day festival includes "open gardens", markets, live music and "Eat Street", a haybale competition, vintage car display, Tenterfield Railway Station high tea and lots of children's entertainment including the very popular Easter Egg Hunt and small animal farm.
There's a special Autumn-themed CBD window display and spectacular haybale display with the famous 6m high Easter Bunny Haybale, made by local Mundy Sattalo - already up on the Bruxner H’way and looking as handsome as ever!
