Located in the Grenfell Community Hub, the Grenfell Art Gallery has been a vibrant part of the local arts scene since opening in March 2009. Operated by the Weddin Shire Council's Tourism, Arts & Events team and proudly manned by local volunteers, the gallery aims to engage both the community and visitors by fostering awareness, appreciation, and enjoyment of the visual arts.

The gallery hosts a dynamic calendar of exhibitions throughout the year, featuring works from local and regional artists and sculptors. Each exhibition includes an official opening event, often accompanied by talks from the exhibiting artists, offering deeper insight into their creative processes. Occasional workshops also provide hands-on opportunities for artistic exploration.

Behind the building's charming heritage exterior, visitors will find a bright and welcoming space, flooded with natural light from the gallery's unique skylight towers. A highlight of the space is the Grenfell Community Curtain, a permanent, large-scale 'painting with thread' installation that captures the spirit and stories of the local community in intricate detail.

Whether you're a long-time art lover or just curious, the Grenfell Art Gallery offers a warm and inspiring experience.
