Paradise

Paradise is one of Cowra's most historic homes dating back to 1883, commissioned by Peter Murray from Dundee who arrived in Australia in 1866. Peter Murray paid two stone masons from his native Scotland 450 pounds to help build this magnificent home.

It has a rich history and commands views across the Lachlan Valley and is located between Cowra town centre and The Japanese Gardens. This rather deceptive home is over three storeys that comprises a large living room, massive drawing room, kitchen, five bedrooms, bathroom, external shower room and laundry with substantial grounds.

A house for all seasons it is ideal for that country weekend getaway or family gathering, an ideal meeting point to gather under one roof. One of the main attributes of Paradise is its sheer size that offers an ideal place for large scale functions including weddings, christenings and funerals.

Historic homes are charming places and offer a glimpse to the past. The maintenance is ongoing and they are privileged to have highly dedicated team that do a fabulous job. By staying at Paradise, you will assist them to keep investing in this splendid home and all of the local people that contribute to it.
