Rockley might be tiny but it's big on appeal – think of it as the perfect destination for a Sunday drive.

In 1847 copper was discovered in the region, followed by gold in 1851. Once a thriving community with several hotels, two general merchants, barber, butcher, baker and blacksmith, and a billiard hall and fruit stores.

Today you can stroll through the village and see the many remaining buildings including the Rockley Mill and Stables Museum (open most Sunday's 11.30 am to 3.30pm) situated in the Stranger's Flour Mill built in 1862.

Stop in at the Rockley Pub for a cool drink, lunch or dinner and enjoy the ambience of a classic country pub. Check the facebook page or website for opening hours - open 7 days a week.
