Ruby Archer and Tiali
Sunday 19 May 2024
Overview
Ruby Archer is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter from the NSW Central Coast. She creates jazzy, funky rock with feminist undertones and husky vocals. Her debut album Chamomile Tea attracted several song writing awards and after putting together a band of like minded musicians Ruby and the Groovy Doobies won first prize in YouthRock 2022.
Tiali's music is surreal, dreamlike and addictive, with a dangerous undercurrent that pulls you in.
Her soulful, husky vocal delivers a sultry alternative rock feel.
With grungy guitar mixes with blues, jazz, punk, slivers of shadowy psychedelia, and a pinch of influences like Mazzy Star and PJ Harvey, she creates a sound that you cannot pin down.
This is an all ages event (Under 18s to be accompanied by an adult) in a fully accessible venue.
