Human Dinosaur Machine
Sunday 26 May 2024
Overview
This Sonic Sunday presents Northern Rivers band Human Dinosaur Machine.
Human Dinosaur Machine will bury its hooks into you, this vocally raw outfit places its truth beside humour and pain and supports this through intricate rhythms and wondrous melodies that will completely envelop you. The band's birth in 2015 was the result of some social refuge during a house party in Lismore between two strangers and an acoustic guitar. What started out as an awkward, intimate jam, blossomed into four close friends making music together.
Human Dinosaur Machine’s writing motivation can be described as a brutalised, honest look at brains, pertaining to all the fun highs and crushing lows that come with personal well being and mental health, with the music and lyrics strongly reflecting this.
