The Visitor Information Centre in Katoomba town centre is located a short distance from Katoomba Station, within the exciting Blue Mountains Cultural Centre.

Alongside an extensive range of maps, specialty guidebooks (on local flora, fauna and trails to discover), and locally made and sourced souvenirs, including the MTNS MADE range, visitors can also explore a wealth of innovative, diverse, distinctive and creative cultural programs and exhibitions.

The Blue Mountains Cultural Centre also encompasses the Blue Mountains City Art Gallery, Katoomba Library and Into the Blue, an interactive exhibition that explores the history and natural landscape of the Blue Mountains.
