Overview
The Blue Mountains Food Co-op is a not-for-profit food co-operative established in 1981 and owned by over 2,100 members. The biggest in Australia "The Co-op" is a prime example of community-centre business which is owned by its customers, represented by a voluntary board of directors.
The Co-op seeks to support local farmers, and connect and inspire the vibrant community of the Blue Mountains through donations, education and enrichment programs. The store has a range of local and organic produce, bulk food, grocery items, eco-friendly household and personal care products as well as locally made gifts.
