Die Wollongong Library ist ein inklusiver und sicherer Ort für alle und erstreckt sich über zwei Etagen des Wollongong City Council-Gebäudes im Herzen des zentralen Geschäftsviertels von Wollongong.
Die Bibliothek ist montags bis samstags geöffnet und bietet eine umfangreiche Sammlung an Büchern, Filmen, Musik und Zeitschriften, kostenlosen Technologie- und Internetzugang sowie umfassendes Fachwissen. Die Wollongong Library beherbergt außerdem die größte Sammlung für lokale Studien in der Region.
Die Bibliothek veranstaltet außerdem regelmäßig Veranstaltungen und Programme für alle Altersgruppen, von unterhaltsamen Lese- und Schreibkursen für Vorschulkinder bis hin zu Kreativ- und Technologie-Workshops für Erwachsene.
