Überblick
Ein großartiger Wein beginnt im Weinberg. Stonehurst Cedar Creek Wines, ein in fünfter Generation familiengeführtes Weingut, setzt weiterhin auf nachhaltige Landwirtschaft. Die erhöhten Spaliere fangen Sonnenlicht und Luftzirkulation ein und verbessern so die Qualität und den Geschmack der Früchte. Die Reben werden von Hand beschnitten und alle Früchte handverlesen. Es werden keine Insektizide, sondern ausschließlich biologisch zugelassene Fungizide verwendet.
Das Ergebnis dieser liebevollen Arbeit sind preisgekrönte Weine aus einem sehr gesunden Weinberg. Die Weinauswahl des Weinguts umfasst Weiß-, Rot-, Rosé-, Schaum- und Likörweine.
Stonehurst lädt Sie zu einer Weinprobe in seinem Sandstein-Weinkeller ein – verbringen Sie einen Tag damit und erkunden Sie den Wollombi Valley Wine Trail. Übernachten Sie in einem Weinberghäuschen, entspannen Sie sich, erholen Sie sich und genießen Sie.
Stonehurst ist stolzer Gastgeber von „Sculpture in the Vineyards“ – einer Ausstellung großformatiger Außen- und einzigartiger Innenarbeiten, die alle zwei Jahre im September stattfindet.
