If you are craving wine and pasta in the heart of the CBD, then look no further than Ragazzi.
Run by a lineup of Sydney hospitality legends, the duo behind Love, Tilly Devine and Dear Saint Eloise, Matthew Swieboda and Nathanial Hatwell, have teamed up with chef Scott Williams of Bacco Osteria e Espresso and MoVida to open Angel Place’s new Italian-inspired restaurant.
Showcasing boutique Italian producers and Australian vineyards that use Italian grapes – and serving daily-changing wines by the glass – the wine list is reason enough to come along.
However, the 38-seat eatery’s food menu is just as delicious. Plates change regularly and focus on handmade pasta. Expect dishes such as cacio e pepe spaghetti, ravioli of asparagus, pecorino and burnt honey, and fagottini of lobster and tarragon.
