Overview
Moruya Main Beach is a lovely long, wide stretch of sand, gently curving in a slight crescent as it runs several kilometres south, ending at Pedro Point. It's a wonderful place for a beach walk, a swim or simply a day by the sea.
At the northern end, near the Moruya Surf Lifesaving Club, a grassy reserve is well set up for a family day out, with picnic tables, toilets and a playground.
For a fantastic view of Main Beach and the surrounding coastline, follow Coronation Drive and Shelly Beach Road up to Moruya Heads Lookout at Toragy Point. It's the perfect spot to take in the sweep of the beach from above.
