Great Divide Folk Festival
Overview
A grassroots folk festival over three days every fourth weekend in October featuring acoustic music, dance, yarns (storytelling and poetry) with simple workshops.
Music focus covers bluegrass through traditional and modern folk with dance covering various cultural traditions. No ticketing is charged, although there can be artist merchandise and tutoring fees (beyond the basic workshops).
Set at 1,100 metres elevation in the historic Monaro village of Nimmitabel.
