Join their local expert guide on this small group birding tour and discover the unique bird species of the Greater Lithgow region. Marvel at the majesty of a soaring Wedge-tailed Eagle or be captivated by the enchanting musical call of the Superb Lyrebird.

This early morning walking tour provides superb birding opportunities as well as the chance to experience some of the region’s most spectacular scenery at either Lake Wallace Wallerawang or in nature’s own amphitheatre Wolgan Valley. Learn about the conservation issues facing threatened species like the critically endangered Regent Honeyeater and the vulnerably listed Glossy-black Cockatoo, and join in on one of their regular citizen science projects where they survey the many bird species that they encounter throughout their travels.
