As winter descends on the Southern Highlands so does the opportunity to enjoy fresh truffles. Throughout winter, Wild Food Adventures offers the opportunity to visit a Truffle Farm for an exclusive experience and take in some local sights along the way.

Upon arrival at the Truffle Farm, you are started with light refreshments and an information session on these coveted French Black Perigord Truffles before you head into the Ilex and Robur Oak Trees to watch the Truffle dogs follow the mystical aroma of these tubular delights and unearth them from the tree roots.

You finish with a three-course lunch in the old homestead ruins at the farm where you get to sample these treasures with more matching local wines. On the outbound trip, you will stop at a Bundanoon lookout, in Morton National Park to take in the views before a final warm drink by the fire at the 100-year-old Bundanoon Hotel.
