Part of the Greater Blue Mountains World Heritage Area, Wollemi National Park has been a place of great significance to Aboriginal people for thousands of years. The spectacular landscape has been sculpted over millennia into a magnificent network of soaring sandstone escarpments, plunging gorges and canyons, winding river valleys and awe-inspiring geological features which shelter a rich diversity of plants, birds and animals.

Enjoy a tour by kayak on the stunning Cudgegong River, accompanied by a professional guide who will provide engaging commentary on the fascinating natural and cultural history of the area and it's environmental significance. From the long history of habitation of the Wiradjuri people, to the first European settlement, the notorious 'lady bushranger' and the incredible tale of the building of the dam that formed the waterway as it exists today, there are stories of interest for everyone.

Operating school holiday and weekends from September to April. Tours depart daily each morning and on Friday evenings during daylight saving. Tour Duration is two hours, and includes a short walk to the dam wall.
Suitable for people of average fitness and mobility over 12 years of age.
