The Lord Howe Island Group is made up of 28 islands and islets, with remarkable volcanic geography that has been eroded by the sea over millions of years. As such it is a World Heritage Site of global natural significance. A majority of the island is a virtually untouched forest, rich in flora and fauna and some of the world’s best hiking trails.
