This overnight, two day bush survival course in the Blue Mountains near Sydney, NSW is for people who want to learn how to survive when exploring in wilderness regions.

It will teach you how to feel confident while out in the bush, and to avoid embarrassing or even life-threatening situations. The emphasis is on learning, rather than surviving, so you practice skills that you will need in an emergency.

This course teaches you how to:

- navigate by the sun, moon and stars,
- make your own compass and sundial,
- prepare plant foods and medicines,
- preserve meat (fresh for weeks without a fridge),
- light a fire without matches (many different ways),
- find water and purify it by natural means,
- build survival shelters to keep you warm, dry and safe,
- make your own rope for emergency situations,
- survive a bushfire and more.
