Based in the Hills area of Sydney NSW and raised near Lake Macquarie I always see beauty in my surroundings.
While working in the television and cinema industry for over 25 years I have had a passion for landscape photography, with the occasional portrait gig in between. My approach is simple, bold, and genuine. I have spent a lot of time reflecting on my ‘style’ of photography. Style comes and evolves with time. My style will continue to evolve.
Photographer, tech head, and founder of Aaron Rusden Photography I am an urban nature wannabe, enthusiast of good food, enjoyer of great company, husband and wanderlust. I love to explore, to unearth new places, and meet interesting people.
I am always looking for a new angle to capture the environment. I can be found freezing my fingers in the predawn chill waiting for an astonishing sunrise or climbing over obstacles to capture the perfect scene. With my camera in hand, the solitude and connections made as the dawn begins to unfold or sun sinks beyond the horizon and the times in between are when I am at peace. I find splendour in all environments and endeavour to tell stories as I capture the culture, exquisiteness and hidden gems of an area.
My camera is my friend and the world is my canvas.
