My name is Rob Pacialeo and I’m a self-taught landscape photographer living in Sydney. Growing up in this beautiful city I’ve always appreciated its natural beauty – the beaches, city skyline and national parks. Along with my sense of adventure and creativity I was inspired to follow my passion for photography to capture these locations from my own unique perspective.
For me, photography is not just about getting that amazing photo – even though I do feel a sense of accomplishment when I do. I also really enjoy the process and planning that goes into getting the perfect shot. From looking for locations to shoot, reading maps, checking weather and tide charts and the final editing process – it’s all part of the adventure and the opportunity to use my creativity.
Over the past 12 months, I’ve carried around my camera, a Nikon D610, as well as my trusty tripod. There’s been hours of planning, countless early mornings, thousands of kilometres driving and lots of hiking just to get to that perfect location!
A few of my favourite locations to photograph in New South Wales are; Horse Head Rock (Bermagui) Coal Loader (Catherine Hill Bay), Bare Island (Botany Bay), Hanging Rock (Blue Mountains) and Bombo Quarry (Bombo).
From a creative perspective my objective is to uniquely showcase nature’s beauty using bold and vibrant colour – I hope you enjoy a snapshot of my gallery. If you would like to follow my future adventures, or see more photos please visit my Instagram and website page.
