It’s the love of the outdoors and capturing those fleeting moments on camera that has fired my passion for landscape photography. A passion that is as strong now as it has ever been.
Persistence and a keen eye for detail are all part of a landscape photographer’s makeup, but the philosophy of ‘keeping it real’ has always been at the forefront of my work. Let nature set the scene and with a bit of patience and luck, great images will follow.
The many varied landscapes of New South Wales are rich in photographic potential. I am always asked about my favourite locations, and while I always feel that it’s a tough question to answer, I have to admit visiting the national parks and Outback New South Wales is always a joy, as their natural diversity and beauty is a landscape photographer’s dream.
It’s always been a goal of mine to teach and share with others what I’ve learnt over the years. I now run photographic workshops and photo tours across Australia and abroad. It’s a buzz for me to be able to see my clients capture nature in all its glory and to the best of their abilities and it’s something I hope to continue long into the future.
My work over the last 15 years is contained in my website and it charts my story so far and all of my landscape photographs can be viewed. Please feel free to browse, or if next time you’re on the Central Coast, visit my Gallery in East Gosford.
Please don’t hesitate to call in and say hello.
