Jazz, wine, and summertime in New South Wales is the perfect combination.
With a view of the Brokenback Mountain Range vineyard offering a postcard-worthy backdrop, Pokolbin‘s 6ha of vineyard at Tyrrell’s offers visitors a chance to spend the last Saturday of the month enjoying the best of Australian jazz singers, wines and scenery.
Three big names in jazz will be attending the event to keep audiences on their feet dancing amongst the grapevines:
– Aussie jazz legend James Morrison will be performing along with his soul band, his two sons and Roxanne Lebrasse.
– Marcia Hines, or simply Marcia as many Aussies know her – and her incredibly distinctive voice – joins the stellar line up.
– The nine-member band, The Bamboos, are also on the set list and are tipped to bring a fusion of soul and funk from the late 60s and early 70s to the day.
The region is simply too good to only stay for one day, so book in your Hunter Valley accommodation and plan a weekend trip.
While you’re there, why not hire a bike with Grapemobile Bicycle Hire, which rents out bicycles to tour the area tasting wines, visiting restaurants in the Hunter Valley and stopping for roadside picnics!
