Check out Adaminaby and Lake Eucumbene this Easter Saturday for the idyllic family fun day out. Head to the Snowy Mountains this Easter, and join the locals at the Adaminaby Easter Fair from 9am on Easter Saturday. The event features performances from both local talent and the fabled Easter Bunny! There will be loads of entertainment for the the big kids and the little ones too – from tug-o-war and wood auctions to the petting zoo, Wacky Quacky Duck Race and the Easter Hat Parade. Check out the market stalls showcasing local food, plants, crafts and homewares.
Enjoy the roar of the aquatic powerboats as they fly past on Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday! Find yourself a spot along the banks of the Manning River and soak in the thrilling atmosphere of the Easter Powerboat Spectacular in Taree. The annual event attracts competitors both locally and internationally, showcasing some of the finest powerboat driving talents. The best viewing spot according to the locals is along the foreshore of Taree from Fotheringham Park to Endeavour Place.
The community of Corowa comes to life with the Billy Cart Championships on Easter Saturday! From professional to homemade vehicles of agility and speed, this event is open to all ages and all levels of billy cart racing experience. There are six different race categories to cater for everyone, as well as family fun activities for the spectators including jumping castle, children’s face painting and food and market stalls. Head to the centre of town to cheer on your friends as they fly down Sanger Streeton Easter Saturday!
The Corowa Lawn Tennis Club will once again be hosting their annual Easter Tournament from Good Friday to Easter Monday. Cheer on your friends and family as they battle it out to be crowned the champion of Corowa. All grades and ages will be catered for across many events including juniors, singles, doubles, mixed and opens. The games will be played in a round robin format. There will also be a canteen operating over the four days serving hot and cold beverages, afternoon snacks and barbecue lunches.
The Easter Long Weekend calls for a celebration in the seaside village of Ulladulla, as they rejoice in the Blessing of the Fleet Festival. The night of Good Friday marks the commencement of the Festival, with the Princess Ball, where the Prince and Princesses are announced. Keep partying on until Easter Sunday, when the township hosts one of the biggest street festivals in the state, as the Milton Ulladulla Ex Servos Parade commences down the Princes Highway. Secure yourself a spot early to marvel at the incredibly vibrant, imaginative and colourful floats, making their way to Ulladulla Harbour.
Easter Sunday Kids Funday will be an extravaganza for the whole family! Held as a fundraising event to raise money and awareness for the local Rural Fire Service, the event will showcase a wide range of Easter-themed entertainment. There will be a giant Easter egg hunt for the kids and a few Easter ales for the adults too, courtesy of Murray’s Brewery and Port Stephens Winery. BYOD (bring your own device) for an interactive Easter game and enjoy the Easter arts and craft workshops, face painting and an exciting VIP visit from the Easter Bunny himself.
