Overview
Renowned Zest artist Anton Pulvirenti has gifted the West Wyalong community with a striking three-dimensional mural on the Splatter Gallery wall at 192 Main Street.
Inspired by the rich history of West Wyalong, Anton transformed a local story into a vibrant and uplifting visual experience. Titled Running of the Bull, the mural celebrates the town's gold rush heritage and pays tribute to the unusual origins of its main street. During the gold rush, miners refused to move their claims, resulting in the street following the winding path of an existing bullock track rather than a traditional town grid.
The artwork combines creativity, history, and optical illusion, inviting visitors to become part of the scene as they explore and photograph the impressive 3D design.
Since joining Zest Events in 2007, Anton Pulvirenti has built a distinguished portfolio of large-scale murals, 3D street art, illustrations, and live art projects. His work has captivated audiences across Australia and internationally, making Running of the Bull a unique cultural attraction and a must-see feature of West Wyalong.
