Port Kembla Festival
Overview
Music, creativity, and community converge in the dynamic heart of Port Kembla. Port Kembla Festival is an annual event hosted by music venues, art galleries, laneways, barbershops, yoga studios, gardens and heaps more along Wentworth St. Host spaces are mindfully curated, each provides a new and unique experience to explore. The event is an all day, all night gig-crawl with something for everyone.
Port Kembla Festival is produced by Holy Pavlova and sponsored by Wollongong City Council, PKX, Dimosons and Planet Fitness. Each year up to 4,000 people from all corners of the country descend onto Wentworth St to enjoy the event. The festival presents an exciting range of live music and is set alongside markets, workshops and light installations in urban settings. This year, Port Kembla Festival shines a light on our native Illawarra music and arts scene.
Official host venues include The Servo, The Iron Yampi, Future Artifacts, The Shave Cave, The Wentworth, Nasa Gallery & Studios, Number 99, The Panthaway, Port Beirut and Red Point Arts Studio. However, explore a little further and you'll find plenty of extra treats around the street.
