The Music Lounge

Wollongong Town Hall and The Music Lounge will be closed from Monday 29 June until 2027 while Wollongong City Council undertakes building refurbishments. The show goes on at the Illawarra Performing Arts Centre (IPAC)!

Nestled within Wollongong Town Hall, The Music Lounge is a premium venue with a rotating schedule of world-class performers and events, from comedians and musicians to dance events and festivals.

Run by the not-for-profit Merrigong Theatre Company, which produces and curates diverse entertainment across theatre, dance and the arts, The Music Lounge showcases incredible talent in an intimate setting of just 120 patrons. With a private bar and table seating, it makes for a sophisticated venue to take in a gig or performance.
