A Spring Equinox sound bath event presented by Dynamic Body Works.
Bukhu Ganburged is a master student of the Music and Dance Conservatory of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Performing the folk music of Mongolia, Bukhu explores the aural dimensions of sounds generated by traditional instruments and harmonic overtone vocal techniques, known as "throat singing".

Bukhu Ganburged is a master student of the Music and Dance Conservatory of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. Performing the folk music of Mongolia, Bukhu explores the aural dimensions of sounds generated by traditional instruments and harmonic overtone vocal techniques, known as "throat singing".
Bukhu will perform live for the first time in the Eurobodalla Shire on Sunday, September 20th. The event will be supported by local sound bath practitioners Matty of Dynamic Body Works and Dave of Soundwave Energy, who will open the evening at the Mechanics' Institute Moruya.
The event will commence at 4pm with a short intermission at 5:30pm. Bukhu will contribute his "horse head fiddle" to the sound bath and perform a solo set at 6pm.
The event is structured similarly to a large group meditation, with participants choosing to sit in provided seats or lie down. Non seated audience members are encouraged to bring their own mat, bolster and blanket.
The Spring Equinox event will conclude a full lunar cycle that the collective has played throughout the past year to a growing group of local sound meditation enthusiasts.
