Overview

The Perfect Light Film Festival is Broken Hill's iconic, free, annual film festival. The Festival includes a launch, an outdoor short film festival and a filmmaking workshop. The Festival launch will feature an Independent Aussie Feature Film, followed by a question and answer session at Silver City Cinema. The Perfect Light Film Festival is Broken Hill's iconic, free, annual film festival.

The Festival includes a launch, an outdoor short film festival and a filmmaking workshop.

The Festival launch will feature an Independent Aussie Feature Film, followed by a question and answer session at Silver City Cinema.

A filmmaking workshop will be held at the Civic Centre in Broken Hill. Come and meet emerging and established filmmakers, learn more about film and collaborate to make your own short film.

The Festival finishes with the highlight of the event, an outdoor short film festival held in Sturt Park, Broken Hill, where up to 16 short films will be screened and awarded monetary prizes by a panel of celebrity judges. Food trucks can be enjoyed by attendees. Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy live music, films and markets.

Perfect Light Film Festival advises that films are unclassified and are suited to people 15 years and over.
