Tuntable Bush Camp
Highlights
Overview
This is a hosted stay through Hipcamp, below is the information provided by the Host regarding their offering.
A modest set-up in the hills with choice of a provided caravan, your own small campervan, or tent. Gas hot shower shack with adjacent compost toilet provided in the paddock with a view. Neighbours have pigs, chooks and cows, and the property has wallabies and birds. No generators please so we can all enjoy the natural sounds of being in nature. There is access to a lovely forested walk down to a little creek where you'll find a shady picnic spot to rest and wet your feet. Feel free to pick from the circular communal veggie garden adjacent to the shower. 1.2km down the road is a shady swimming hole on the larger Tuntable Creek, signed as the ‘Mullet Hole’, a great picnic spot and area to explore for several hours. There is also a dam here which dogs can swim in close to camping. We are 5 mins from The Channon Tavern and General Store with ice and petrol, and many nearby swimming holes, bush walks, and waterdalls.
