Ally Palmer at the Ballina RSL
Overview
Ally Palmer performs live, bringing her signature blend of soulful folk and laid-back coastal energy to the stage at the Ballina RSL.
A multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter, Ally creates heartfelt, expressive music that balances vulnerability with strength. Her smooth harmonies and relaxed style deliver feel-good vibes, perfectly suited to warm evenings by the ocean. Drawing inspiration from classic soul and her folk roots, her sound weaves together elements of funk, indie folk, moody blues and surf-rock.
After touring nationally as a keyboardist for a range of artists, Ally began focusing on her original music in 2016. She has since released two EPs and her debut album Need You Around, earning worldwide radio airplay and sharing stages with well-known Australian acts including Pete Murray, The Dreggs and Kim Churchill.
Now performing with additional musicians, Ally's live shows offer a fuller, groove-driven sound, showcasing the depth, clarity and maturity of her evolving musical style.
