Stonewood

Stonewood is an impressive six bedroom retreat where soaring cathedral ceilings rise above the open plan living and dining area. Natural light, warm timber details and a sandstone fireplace give the space a feel that is both impressive and welcoming.

Large openings connect seamlessly to the wraparound verandah, turning the whole area into one enormous indoor outdoor entertaining space. The double sided fireplace can be enjoyed from inside and out, equally inviting for a cosy winter weekend or long lunches in the warmer months. Firewood kits are available from reception. Two further alfresco and courtyard areas offer more spots to escape with a morning coffee or a bottle of local wine.

For summer stays, the private pool is perfect for lazy afternoons between winery visits, set among established greenery that gives the home a secluded feel. Bedroom six sits within its own private loft with an ensuite and kitchen, offering part of the group a self-contained retreat while staying connected to the rest of the house.

Stonewood accommodates up to twelve guests in six bedrooms and four bathrooms. Parking is available for up to six vehicles. The home is not pet friendly. Wineries and cellar doors are a short drive away.
