Overview

The Magenta Art and Photography Prize is an annual event held as a fundraiser for The Australian Inland Botanic Gardens. The event will be held over the Easter break at the Buronga Midway Centre. Entry to the Magenta Art Prize Exhibition is a Gold Coin Donation. The Magenta Art and Photography Prize is an annual event held as a fundraiser for The Australian Inland Botanic Gardens. The event will be held over the Easter break at the Buronga Midway Centre.

Entry to the Magenta Art Prize Exhibition is a Gold Coin Donation.

On Easter Saturday, enjoy a sumptuous breakfast of sausages, bacon, veggies, toast and pancakes, followed by orange juice or coffee at the Australian Inland Botanic Gardens as part of the 2026 Magenta Art Prize.

Also available on Easter Saturday will be scenic Tractor-Train tours around the Gardens. Train Tour bookings are available in the Garnpang Café.

The Garnpang Café will be open each day over Easter for light lunch and refreshments. Entries for the 2026 Magenta Art Prize are now open.
