Delight in the virtuosity and splendour of selections from Vivaldi Four Seasons: Summer and stunning Haydn Cello Concerto, Renaissance dances by Holborne and Dowland, and intricate, intense and beautiful vocal and instrumental works from the sacred, secular and theatre traditions by Handel, Kastorsky,Telemann and more, performed by Camerata Academica of the Antipodes.
Directed by musicologist-performer Imogen Coward, the concert features the Camerata ensemble and core soloists, Taliesin Coward (violin/voice), Christopher Porteous (violins), and Leon Coward (violin/voice) together with emerging artist and past Ryde Eisteddfod winner Justin Shenouda (cello) and multi-instrumentalist Daniel Murphy, known to Historical Performance audiences for his recorder performances with Consort8.
