Uncle Billy's Retreat

Set in beautiful Ben Lomond (approx 50 minutes drive from Armidale and 25 minutes from Guyra), Uncle Billy's Retreat is a fisherman's paradise. They specialise in fly fishing for Rainbow Trout and offer accommodation guests, exclusive access to their lakes all year round.

Accommodation at their main lake - Lake Yoolimba consists of two log cabins that can accommodate up to eight guests. There is also a separate bathroom cabin and function shed for relaxing in, down by the waterfront - 15 acres of it! They also have a fully self-contained brick cabin called 'The Lodge', located at a smaller lake a short drive away. This cabin accommodates four guests. Perfect for couples or for large groups wanting to book all three cabins.

Uncle Billy's was established in 1995 by Bill and Sue Atkin and is now run by son Rob and daughter-in-law Mel. Renowned for high quality, sustainable fishing, Uncle Billy's is the perfect location for getting away from it all and enjoying nature at its best.
