Beautiful: The Carole King Musical
Overview
Curtain Bounce, the acclaimed company behind the hugely successful productions of The Phantom of the Opera and A Chorus Line along with Laycock Street Community Theatre, proudly presents the Central Coast premiere of Beautiful: The Carole King Musical.
Directed by acclaimed creative Stuart Smith and starring local favourite Josephine Emmett as Carole King, this inspiring Broadway hit celebrates the remarkable life and music of one of the world's greatest songwriters.
Before she was a chart-topping solo artist, Carole King was a teenage songwriter from Brooklyn with an extraordinary talent and a dream to make her mark on the music industry. Beautiful tells the inspiring true story of her rise to stardom, from writing hit songs with Gerry Goffin in the 1960s, to finding her own voice and becoming one of the most influential solo artists of all time.
Packed with beloved classics including "You've Got a Friend" "One Fine Day" "Will You Love Me Tomorrow" "Locomotion" and "I Feel the Earth Move" this Tony and Grammy Award-winning musical is a joyous celebration of friendship, resilience, and the soundtrack of a generation.
Bursting with heart, humour, and unforgettable music, Beautiful is an uplifting theatrical experience for audiences of all ages.
Duration two hours 30 minutes including interval.
