Lithgow City Orchestra Autumn Concert
Overview
As the days shorten bringing cooler temperatures and leaves change to spectacular browns and reds, Autumn is a delightful time in Lithgow to enjoy live classical music. Lithgow City Orchestra will be presenting their Autumn concert, an opportunity to relax and unwind.
You can expect a variety of musical styles, a blend of genres across the ages. Classical, Romantic, contemporary, popular and 21st century.
Special guest artists, Lithgow Valley Voices, is a talented community choir. This twenty-voice ensemble performs a varied repertoire from sacred music to light pop with a blend of traditional. Their Musical Director Henrik Eneberg brings his vast experience to this choral ensemble.
Audience members can expect some memorable choral work.
To showcase the versatility of the Orchestra, they will present works from J S Bach, Antonin Dvorak, Pietro Mascagni, James Horner, Jerry Amaldev and more. Even a toe-tapping ragtime from the 1920s!
This free concert followed by afternoon tea will take place at Notre Dame Uni near Lithgow Hospital.
