Nestled beside the charming town of Dorrigo, the Bielsdown River Walk offers a beautifully restored riverside haven for visitors. Thanks to grant-backed efforts led by Dandarrga Landcare, over 200 native plants—from wattles and hakeas to eucalypts and casuarinas—have flourished along the riverbank, supported by careful weed control and volunteer maintenance (volunteers welcome on Thursdays!)

This serene stretch of river is a peaceful escape where you might spot platypus burrows—an indication of the healthy, welcoming habitat created here. Take a seat and enjoy quiet moments birdwatching, or simply strolling the shaded path.

Located just minutes from Dorrigo's town center, the walk is around 300 metres and makes a lovely addition to your day of exploring the region.
