Bland, Dull, and Boring: A League Like No Other!
In a wonderfully quirky alliance, Bland in New South Wales has teamed up with Dull in Scotland and Boring in Oregon, USA, to form the League of Extraordinary Communities.
It all began in 2012 when Boring voted to partner with Dull, calling themselves "a pair for the ages." A year later, Bland joined the fun, completing this trio of delightfully named towns.
Interestingly, both Bland and Boring were named after early settlers — William Bland and William Boring — while Dull's name is believed to come from a Pictish word meaning "field."
To celebrate this unique connection, a special sign and selfie frame can be found in Lions Park. Snap a photo and share the joy with the world — because being Bland, Dull, or Boring has never been so extraordinary!
