Located on the banks of the Mehi River, Mary Brand Park is a place of great historical significance to Moree. The park is named after Mary Brand, Moree's first storekeeper and hotelier. It offers a peaceful setting to relax beneath the shady canopies of century-old fig trees while enjoying the birdlife and wildlife that inhabit the surrounding parklands.

A favourite spot for photographers and picnickers, the park backs onto the Mehi River jetty and is popular for fishing and water activities.

Mary Brand Park also commemorates Mary Brand's return to Moree following the death of her first husband, James Brand. It was here that Mary built her second store and later established the town's first hotel, the Moree Inn, in 1861.
