Congo
Overview
Just to the south of Moruya lie glorious beaches and rock fishing locations where the only footprints on the sand belong to you. The beaches stretch from Moruya's South Head to Congo, Meringo, Mullimburra Point and Bingie Bingie Point within the Eurobodalla National Park.
Congo marks the northern end of the epic Bingi Dreaming Track, one of the best walks for experiencing natural coastal environments, leading hikers along sweeping beaches, over headlands, rocky outcrops and tidal estuaries.
Make sure to keep your eyes and ears open for the incredible birdlife in these regions. The headland is a great viewing point to spy humpback whales on their annual migration.
Congo campground, operated by NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service, offers a primitive camping experience in the Eurobodalla National Park. With beaches and plenty of open space, the campground is very popular with families.
