Affectionately known as 'Bluey' or 'Hunter', this iconic figure honours the hardworking spirit of the Blue Heeler, a breed that helped shape the pastoral life of the Hunter Valley and beyond. Originally commemorated in 2001, the current sculpture was unveiled in 2016 to provide a lasting, larger-than-life homage to a true Aussie working hero.
