Overview
Wollongong Running Festival is a two, five and ten kilometre fun run held on the south coast of NSW starting and finishing at Stuart Park, North Wollongong. The track follows the coastal strip from North Wollongong Beach south along The Blue Mile past the lighthouse and back up Cliff Road boasting exceptional views of the ocean and escarpment.
The Wollongong Running Festival proudly supports Lifeline South Coast and the continuing care of Mark Scott, the events inaugural winner.
AUD5 from every registration for the Mark Scott five kilometre event will go to the Mark Scott Trust Fund and will assist in the ongoing care and treatment for Mark and support for his young family. Mark Scott won the event in 2011, the inaugural year. Mark was involved in a serious cycling accident which happened in June 2011.
