Ride4Rotary Illawarra is a family friendly, all-inclusive cycling event held at the Wollongong Velodrome in Unanderra. This year's event is a family fun-day featuring food, drinks and entertainment.
People, teams, families or businesses can register for the Live Ride or our Virtual Ride meaning they can essentially ride anywhere, anytime during the event lifetime.
The event is a partnership between Illawarra's Rotary Clubs and Southern Youth and Family Services (SYFS) with all proceeds go to SYFS to assist in funding their crucial Employment, Education and Training Programs which support vulnerable young people in seeking further training, education or employment pathways.
SYFS is a charity that has the main purpose of supporting and caring for children, young people, adults and families who are disadvantaged, including those who are homeless, or at risk of homelessness and their families. This work provides supported accommodation, community social housing, counselling, mediation, support and the delivery of a range of programs to improve the life situation of children, young people, adults and families.
