Werri Beach is located in one of the most scenic coastal town on the coast, Gerringong. A classic surfing beach and point offering some of the best waves on the south coast.
This family and dog-friendly beach offers stunning panoramic views of the Rose Valley and ocean and is located on a sweeping stretch between two rocky headlands.
There is a natural lagoon at one end and rock pools at the other, offering a safe haven for swimming year round.
Werri Beach is patrolled by qualified lifeguards from October to April on weekends and public holidays and throughout the NSW school holidays everyday. A small but popular cafe is available at the southern end, under the Lifesaving Club.
Access to the beach is off Pacific Avenue, Gerringong, and offers a starting point for the Kiama Coast Walk which travels 22 kilometres north.
