Shoalhaven River Festival at the Showgrounds

The Shoalhaven River Festival is a two-day community event on the October Long weekend celebrating the beautiful Shoalhaven. A free event with a wide variety of free activities and some user-pay attractions. The Shoalhaven River Festival unites the wonderful community and visitors to the region for two days of action-packed family friendly activities.

The 2023 Festival will be held at Nowra Showgrounds. There will be live entertainment, market and food stalls, water activities, art and craft activities a sports zone and plenty of fun for the whole family. Saturday night will feature a children’s lantern parade, story-telling of the history of the region accompanied by a lantern parade on the water, music and fireworks. The day time activities will continue on Sunday and will feature live bands in the afternoon and large outdoor screen to watch the excitement of the NRL Grand Final.

Parking on site ie strictly limited. Premier Coaches will provide free shuttle buses as per their weekend timetable.

A Grand Finale ticketed event is also featured on Sunday night in the pavilion, with the music of Elton Joel and the opportunity to watch the NRL Grand Final.
