The Pioneer Village Museum is a conscientious collection spread through several buildings including the dairy, forge, school house, settler’s cottage, Archie Chittick Museum and the war remembrance room. Over a hectare of lush bushland has been dedicated to the museum grounds with barbeque and picnic facilities, and a short, scenic bushwalk after crossing the splendid swing brindge. The buildings are built to the standards of the late 19th and early 20th centuries and stocked with artifacts from that era. This is a wonderful place to visit for families and seniors alike.
Contact the museum to find out about the exhibition weekend demonstrating how the pioneers worked, rested and played.
