The Garden sits on 42 hectares of forest, growing and displaying plants native to the region. Enjoy sharing the gardens with a variety of birds and other native wildlife. Features include display garden, herbarium, nursery, arboretum, picnic and barbecue areas, a visitors centre and café. Admission is free. Open Wednesday to Sunday and every day of the NSW school and public holidays, except Good Friday, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

There are five tracks from 500 metres to two kilometres, six kilometres in total to choose from. Approximate walking times range from 20 minutes to two hours with an easy difficulty rating – two tracks have limited mobility access . To start turn East off Princes Highway, five kilometres south of Batemans Bay, on Deep Creek Dam Road.

Volunteer guides offer free guided walks most months. These are generally conducted on the first Sunday of each month. Check availability by visiting their website.
