Port Macquarie Bike Hire
Overview
Boomerang Bike Hire Port Macquarie is a hassle free bike hire system, similar to a vending machine that requires a credit card to unlock a bike – open everyday. It’s so easy!
At the station control panel, push any key to activate the screen then push button one to rent a bike. Insert your credit card, and choose the hire period. Choose a bike, accept the waiver, grab your bike and go!
To hire another bike, repeat the process. Return the bike to same station.
The Bike station is located at the entrance to Port Central Shopping Centre next to the Glasshouse Theatre and the Visitor Information Centre (VIC).
The eight bike station has six unisex bikes for riders from 145 centimetres tall, two with baskets and four with child seats. Plus two children's bikes for riders over 120 centimetres. Port Macquarie Bike Hire is here thanks to Port Macquarie Hastings Council.
Free helmets and bike locks are available from next to The Entrance bike station or the VIC or Drury Lane and Cafe - all only metres from the bike hire station.

Actively welcomes people with access needs.
Caters for people with sufficient mobility to climb a few steps but who would benefit from fixtures to aid balance. (This includes people using walking frames and mobility aids)
