Hello Koalas Sculpture Trail
Hello Koalas Sculpture Trail encompasses more than 50 one metre high fibreglass koala sculptures, featuring original artist designs. Each sculpture is a unique artwork and is displayed over the Port Macquarie Hastings region in a Trail that leads people to discover all sorts of interesting places in the area, from the mountains to the sea.
Hello Koalas sculptures can be found lazing in parks, sitting under a tree, looking over the ocean, inside your favourite shop or outside a cafe. The Trail is a permanent attraction which appeals to people of all ages. Often three generations in a family can be seen exploring the Trail, taking lots of photos and chatting about the special design that each Hello Koalas sculpture 'wears'. Some Hello Koalas sculptures are located near businesses where you can stop for lunch, enjoy a cup of coffee, or take a seat and admire beautiful views.
A free Trail Guide is available from the Glasshouse Entertainment and Visitor Centre, and from many of the sculpture sponsors who are listed on the website.
A PDF of the Trail Guide can be downloaded too, with details about the design, artist, sponsor, location, hours of opening, phone, email and website.
